![]() This was the first time I have gone abroad with my son and daughter since a family holiday in 2005, and I have never been to Corfu before. one last thing we got the holiday cheap, but some had paid over £700 for the week, i would want better beds for that kind of money, i would give the apartments a good 3 Star but better beds would make you 4 Star, if you can get this place cheap GO FOR IT, you won't regret it.īack in Westonzoyland Somerset and wishing I was back at the Anemona Apartments with my two teenage children. Must say well done to George, he runs about all day long looking after the guests and apartments i hope the owner pays him well because he deserves every penny he gets Keep up the good work. The town comes to life at night and is only a couple of minuets walk, tribute bands in every bar, we saw some great ones, Abba Girls, Motown, Scar, all fantastic, Booze and food cheap. 2 min walk to the beach but if you walk a little further to the left towards the town there are better beaches and the sunbeds are free if you buy drinks from the bars they belong to. The food and drink served in the bar is very good and cheap, BBQ on Friday night 10 euros each. The pool is clean and enough sunbeds to go around. Guest cloakroom ( WC and basin), One twin bedroom with en suite bathroom opens out onto a terrace and the pool area.Ī second bedroom ( double) with en suite shower room can have its own separate outside access if preferred (ideal for a separate couple) Staircase to upper floor with two bedrooms ( one double bed and one bedroom with twin beds) both with en suite shower room and their own balcony.Stayed here 9th - 16th June 2014, last min booking for myself and husband ( Cosmos £267 for the 2 of us ) and we were not disappointed, the coach from the airport was quite long (2 hours or so), you are also dropped off at the end of the road as the coach is to large to take you up the path that leads to the accommodation ( only a minute walk ) and has fields on each side with horses in, and it is well lit for you at night, when we got to the apartments we were greeted by George who runs the place, he carried our cases to our top floor room ( only 3 floors ) we had room 35, with a view overlooking the pool and sea in the distance, the rooms are all the same apart from one or two bedrooms, they all overlook the pool and have a good size balcony with french double doors, and also a mosquito roller blind that pulls down the full width and length of the doors so you can have them open all day and night without the mozzies eating you, which was great for us, as although the weather was hot 29-32 we managed without air con and put the mozzie blind down, kept the doors open and enjoyed the night breeze, as the beds are next to the doors, the room is large with 3 beds, ( which are hard, if you have the room take your own pillows as i think this would help you sleep a little better as the pillows were also hard and flat ) 2 bedside cupboards a dressing table, wardrobe, table & chairs, cooker with 2 hobs, grill and oven, a full size fridge pots pans crockery cutlery and a kettle, the bathroom is a good size with a small shower, from talking to the other guests we were lucky with our shower as we had a curtain rail and a brand new shower curtain, some people had none, we also had read the reviews before we went and decided to take gaffer tape with us to tape the shower to the curtain pole so we had a shower that we could stand under it worked great, the rooms are spotless and the cleaning lady comes in everyday except Sunday. Living /dining room with open plan fitted kitchen, all opening up to a generous covered dining terrace and separate al fresco lounge all looking over the splendid garden and pool. Beautifully decorated and furnished, the outside areas have been given easily as much loving attention as the interior.
